The cartridge ball check valve is designed to hydraulically lock a flow path by preventing
return flow. Installed directly into a cylinder end cap or manifold block, it reduces
pipework and potential leak paths. Flow in one direction is allowed when the ball unseats
against a spring, chosen for a specific cracking pressure. When flow stops, the ball reseats
to block reverse flow, locking the load. The valve’s robust design provides high tolerance
to contamination, making it a reliable component for hydraulic circuits.
